Combining forces for the first time, The Manhattan Transfer and Take 6 ~ two of the most acclaimed, award-winning vocal groups in pop music ~ create an unforgettable concert event that will thrill audiences of all ages.

Between them, the two groups boast a remarkable 20 Grammy Awards, and a range of styles that covers nearly every genre of popular music; from jazz to swing, from gospel to R&B. As The Manhattan Transfer mark the 40th Anniversary of their debut recording on Atlantic Records ~ Janis Siegel, Alan Paul, and Cheryl Bentyne will honor founding member, Tim Hauser, as they continue to tour with their newest member, Trist Curless. TMT joins Take 6 as they share their crystal clear harmony, innovative arrangements and funky grooves, demonstrating why this sextet is recognized as the pre-eminent A cappella group in the world. Browning String Trio

Members of the Browning String Trio are Shi-Hwa Wang, violin; Michael Palumbo, viola; and Viktor Uzur, cello. They will perform “String Trio in C minor, Op. 9, No. 3” by Ludwig van Beethoven and “Serenade in C Major, op. 10” for string trio by the Hungarian composer Ernst von Dohnányi. 

Even though music for string trios does not have as wide opus as for the string quartets, it carries a special value for the chamber music lovers. Dohnányi and Beethoven show mastery in writing for three instruments, often making the group sound like a string quartet.

Odyssey Dance Company: ReduxNut-Cracker

Odyssey Dance Theatre does it again and will present its own version of the Holiday Dance Classic – The Nutcracker! As they have successfully done, to other great classics such as Giselle and Romeo and Juliet, to rave reviews from across the globe, ODT will bring this production to life in the present day, with the original Tchaikovsky score re-imagined and arranged in a pop/hip-hop style!

Imagine Clara as the young lady whose imagination is inspired by the technological advances of today and is drawn into her smartphone to a magical world where Drosselmeyer drives a DeLorean, the soldiers are actually robots, and the gangsta mice have a hip-hop swagga.

If you’ve been to one too many Nutcrackers, then this is the one you will want to see–re-
imagined, updated, and a visual feast full of surprises.

It is as only Odyssey Dance Theatre can create – The ReduxNut-Cracker!
