The Val A. Browning Center is dedicated to first-class hospitality. We take care so that our events, services, and facilities are accessible to all guests. If you have additional comments or concerns we as that you please call the Val A. Browning Center Admin office at 801-626-7000.
For the night performances please contact the House Manager for help in any of the following services. To locate the House Manager ask anyone wearing a purple vest for help.
Parking:
Accessible parking is available in each of the parking areas surrounding the Browning Center. In addition, a limited number of spaces are available along Vivian Street, directly in front of the center. these spaces are "first-come, first serve" for guests with a state-issued placard or license plate with the accessible logo.
Seating:
The Browning Center offers accessible seating on the main level of the center toward the front and rear, allowing for a choice in viewing. to purchase tickets or for related questions call our administrative office at 801-626-7000. For ticket information contact the Dee Events Center Ticket Office at 801-626-8500. Not all performances are ticketed through the Dee Events Center please check each performance for ticket information.
Access:
The Browning Center has two seating levels accessible by ramp or elevator. Our facilities also feature ADA-approved signage, handrails, and automatic door openers on exterior doors.
Drop Off:
Patrons with limited mobility may be dropped off directly in front of the Browning Center at the circular drive up.
Hearing devices are available for all performances. There is no charge for the device, which can be picked up before the show time. Contact the House Manager the night of the performance or call the Browning Center Admin Office at 801-626-7000 for more information.
Restrooms:
Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located on all levels of the Browning Center.
Equal Access:
In order to ensure that individuals with disabilities have the same opportunities to participate in, and benefit from, the Department of Performing Arts performances, all wheelchair locations and their adjacent companion seat will be held for purchase exclusively by wheelchair or scooter users, until the last non-wheelchair accessible location seat is sold. At that time, all wheelchair locations are released for sale on a "first-come, first served" basis to both wheelchair and non-wheelchair users.
